We may have heard and even experienced that it is by grace alone through faith alone that we are made right with God. However, many are confused in what that really means. The book of Romans in the Bible is steeped in theology and explains what it means to have faith (be a Christian) and then it explains how it is walked out. We have been looking at what it truly means to follow Jesus. There is something that becomes a barrier that hinders the process. And everyone, whether we recognize it or not, suffers from it. It is called PRIDE. How do we recognize it and what can we do about it? This week's message "The Hindrances of Pride"  What is true happiness? I believe that is a question that many if not all have asked,
Is it in our relationships? Is it in our status? Is it in our health? Is it in our location? Is it religion? Is it our charity? True happiness is our topic this Sunday. See you there. We all have made hasty decisions without considering the future or whats it mean down the road. Many leave high school and go to university spending thousands of dollars without considering how much commitment it will require.How about relationships. some love relationships when it is fun and it satisfies them but if it is about the other person forget about it. that's to hard , it's too much like work.. We are doing a short series on what it means to follow Jesus. This week " How committed are You?"  Have you ever felt undervalued by others?Do you think God feels that way? The question we want to ask ourselves is ,What worth do you place on Jesus? This weeks message. "What's He Worth To You?"  |
